In fact, while one study showed that up to 44.9 percent of post-COVID-19 individuals develop Lung Fibrosis, the actual numbers could be far much higher, even reaching 80 percent!

Lung fibrosis can develop even after asymptomatic infections or even mild infections and in even those that were vaccinated.

What is worse, SARS-CoV-2 can also trigger fibrosis of the heart, liver and kidneys!

Many Post-COVID individuals are walking around and are unaware that they have lung fibrosis that is gradually progressing! It is very difficult to recognize that one has lung fibrosis especially during initial stages and even X-rays are not able to pick up lung fibrosis. Lung Ct scans often involving a dye are the best methods to identify lung fibrosis.
Symptoms of Lung Fibrosis
The symptoms of pulmonary fibrosis can include:
-being short of breath - at first only when you're active, but then later when you're just resting.
-a dry, hacking cough that does not go away.
-being tired.
-losing weight.
-losing your appetite.
-having bulging finger or toe tips, known as clubbing.
-aching joints and muscles.
No Cure For Lung Fibrosis
There's currently no cure for idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF). The main aim of treatment is to relieve the symptoms as much as possible and slow down its progression. There are a number of new pharmaceutical drugs that can slow progression but they also come with a variety of adverse effects! As the condition becomes more advanced, end of life (palliative) care is typically offered.
Good News – Not All Lung Fibrosis Cases Progress, Instead They Turn Cancerous!
Not all lung fibrosis cases progresses as some actually develop into lung carcinoma or cancer!

Reinfections Likely To Increase The Risk of Lung Fibrosis
There are also studies showing that constant reinfections with the various SARS-CoV-2 variants and sub-lineages, will increase the risk of one developing lung fibrosis or help in its progression!

JN.1 And Its Enhanced Binding To Lung Cells
Emerging data is indicating that the JN.1 variant and its emerging spawns have an higher affinity for the lung cells which not only can result in pneumonia, ARDS and lung inflammation, but will also contribute to lung fibrosis.

In fact, I had already warned that we are witnessing a rise in what is known as ‘accelerated lung fibrosis and also lung cancer’ due possibly due to the JN.1 variant. Further urgent studies are warranted to investigate this.

One interesting anomaly that is reported being seen in people who initially contracted the JN.1 variant but 'recovered' is that they develop more serious conditions weeks later afer recovery, including lung issues!
Global Pandemic Of Lung Fibrosis – A Worrying Crisis!
As the JN.1 variant which is now considered the most transmissible variant to date, spreads around the world, infecting million more people and also reinfecting individuals who were already exposed to previous variants and sub-lineages of SARS-CoV-2, we are literally facing a huge crisis and an imminent lung fibrosis pandemic!
No medical experts or health authorities are warning about this nor are the mainstream media tmedia covering about in any of their
COVID-19 News reports.
Many health authorities have not even bothered in the last 4 years to ask people who had been exposed to the SARS-CoV-2 virus to go for regular health screenings especially for lung fibrosis.
We can already see many people with reduced cardio respiratory function, having breathing issues, feeling tired easily and not able to do any strenuous activity or even routine exercise!
We can expect to see the actual fatal outcomes of lung fibrosis in coming months and years as the condition silently progresses in millions of Post COVID individuals!
