BREAKING! WHO Accused of Fabricating Marburg Virus Outbreak in Tanzania to Distract Attention from the Global HMPV Crisis!
Medical News: In recent days, senior WHO officials made rapid announcements claiming a Marburg virus outbreak in Tanzania, reporting several deaths despite an apparent lack of credible laboratory evidence. These claims dominated international media and
Medical News coverages, fueling widespread concern.
WHO Accused of Fabricating Marburg Virus Outbreak in Tanzania to Distract Attention from the Global HMPV Crisis
However, Tanzanian health authorities have now refuted the outbreak, asserting that there was no Marburg virus outbreak as confirmed by laboratory test involving a few sick individuals who had died recently.

Emerging evidence suggests the claims may have been a strategic hoax aimed at diverting global attention from the escalating Human Metapneumovirus (HMPV) crisis, which is affecting multiple regions worldwide.
In a related development, certain officials from the African CDC has confirmed that WHO failed to test for HMPV during the investigation of the recent disease outbreak in Congo's Kwango province, which claimed numerous lives. This omission has raised questions about WHO's priorities and its approach to emerging public health threats. Whi has claimed that the deaths in Kwango were possibly due to a combination of malnourishment, Malaria and other respiratory infections but fell short of giving any real supporting facts.
In China, the ongoing HMPV crisis has been downplayed as a seasonal occurrence, with WHO and Chinese authorities offering little transparency. To date, neither has provided genomic data to address concerns that a new subtype or lineage of HMPV, potentially stemming from the A2 subtype, may be driving the surge.
Some Chinese scientists have identified three critical mutations in this new lineage, suggesting possible heightened neurotropic properties and increased disease severity but said that they were not allowed to comment officially.
Whie HMPV is not a new virus and has been around for decades, misinformed doctors in various countries continue to describe HMPV as a seasonal virus with mild effects, failing to acknowledge its evolving nature. Evidence suggests that newer, more severe strains have emerged. Additionally, the lack of routine HMPV testing in many nations means cases are often misclassified as influenza or RSV.(which are also seldom being tested as well!)
Studies indicate that even typical HMPV strains have a slightly higher mortality rate (10%) compared to influenza (9%
), with co-infections exacerbating outcomes. Research also highlights the virus's potential for long-term complications, particularly in children.
The contrast in WHO's handling of the alleged Marburg outbreak versus the HMPV crisis has drawn sharp criticism. Declaring a Marburg outbreak in Tanzania - an African nation - was swift and accompanied by typical calls for funding, while the HMPV crisis, which is straining healthcare systems globally, has received minimal attention. Countries such as the United Kingdom and China are witnessing a surge in hospitalizations and healthcare challenges linked to respiratory infections, yet WHO's focus appears misaligned with these urgent realities.
