COVID-19 News: Total Deaths In the UK For the Week Ending 14 of July Has Increased to 10,030 Deaths!
Latest released data from the ONS in UK shows that there were 10,030 deaths were registered in England and Wales in the week ending 14 July 2023 (Week 28).


 
This represents 4.2% above the five-year average. While the total deaths increased, COVID-19 deaths were also rising in parallel.

Officials in Taiwan on Tuesday issued a media statement saying that the country’s President, Tsai Ing-wen tested positive for COVID-19. The Presidential Office said that her itinerary for Tuesday afternoon has been cancelled. It was reported that Tsai felt "minor discomfort" and tested positive after having a rapid test.

Reports coming in from hospitals and doctors across the country are showing that more patients are coming to various outpatient clinics or departments with symptoms but not many were deemed as severe cases.
