COVID-19 Questions: Even If SARS-Cov-2 Specific T-Cells Are Elicited By Vaccines, Can These T-Cells Really Work Against The SARS-CoV-2 Coronavirus ?

COVID-19 Questions: We continue our series of COVID-19 questions, sometimes posing questions that may sound ‘stupid’ but could provide new insights and challenge researchers for answers around the world so that more specific targeted studies can be conducted with relevant answers.
Of late there has been so much talk of T-Cells and the provision of immunity and protection against the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus.
After numerous studies have shown that most antibodies could only probably provide short term protection of anything between 2 to 12 weeks the most, there was a sudden downplay of the possibility of ending the COVID-19 pandemic by the emergence of an effective vaccine by numerous entities including the WHO and the US NIH (Dr Fauci himself just recently publicly stressed to not put too much hope into vaccines to eradicate the COVID-19 pandemic)
We then noticed that vaccine developers are starting to focus on T-Cells and most vaccine trials are now being judged if they could also elicit T-Cell production.
Numerous other studies have suddenly emerged over the last 4 weeks showing that T-cells from past human coronavirus and even from the SARS-CoV coronavirus is present in certain population and could provide immunity. (seems like a concerted PR and marketing effort by the various pharmaceutical and biotech giants who are the fore runners of the vaccine race which is now worth trillions of dollars.)
But no study has to date proven that these T-cells could actually work against the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus effectively.
There is a difference between the presence the T-Cells and the actually ability of these T-Cells to inhibit the SARS-Cov-2 coronavirus.
We have seen that in past studies especially concerning the Hellstrom Paradox
That certain T-Cells in cancer for instance, even when production is stimulated, the emerging T-Cells does not have the ability to act against the actual tumors.

In more drastic conditions like HIV, we have seen that the T-Cells are actually attacked by the HIV virus (though it case there is no studies to prove that the SARS-CoV-2 is capable of doing so just yet maybe not in the way as in HIV but perhaps by using the viral proteins to cause differentiations in the T-Cells, a strategy deployed by certain other viruses, rendering the T-Cells ineffective.)
Furthermore despite studies showing that T-cells from previous human coronavirus infections were present, there is no proof that they confer any protection or immunity against the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus.
The same goes for the T Cells elicited by some of the vaccine candidates; there are no proven studies to show that these specific T-Cells are able to inhibit the SAR-CoV-2 coronavirus.
We have to be careful on the strategies that we are pinning our hopes on. So far everything that we have known about the COVID-19 disease to even about the pathogen that causes it ie the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus ie from the drugs that we thought
could treat it, to the way the disease progresses, to the evolving and mutation aspects of the novel coronavirus, have all been proven wrong with new studies showing a different perspective each day. For example we first thought that the severity of the disease was due to the virus itself then it later emerged that it was due to an overdrive of inflammatory process caused by cytokine storms and only now we are just realizing through new studies that it is due to a dysregulated immune system that has been impaired. In the meanwhile however millions of people are being treated with the wrong protocol and we have yet to do an audit to see how many people who died did not die from the COVID-19 but rather from the wrong treatment protocols that aggravated the conditions.
On another different note it has already been confirmed by numerous studies that Lymphopenia is present not only in COVID-91 patients in severe conditions but even in mild, moderate and even asymptomatic and recovered patients. with no proper explanations for this condition yet to date.
It will be interesting to see the response that we get from this question or hopefully a proper study on it with valid findings.
