COVID-19 News: While many are assuming that COVID-19 is over or that COVID-19 is simply mild now, SARS-CoV-2 infection rates are simply rising across many countries in the world with governments, health authorities, mainstream media, social media platforms and even search engines trying to conceal or down play the situation.

Local COVID-19 News coverages are already showing that COVID-19 hospitalizations are rising at alarming levels and many healthcare professionals themselves are getting infected.

In places like Valencia, COVID-19 is simply wiping out the elderly.

While Spain had experienced many COVID-19 waves, the difference this time is that many are feeling sick over a longer extended period and except for those in the vulnerable groups where the risk of mortality is very high during the acute infection phase, the rest though they are in the mild/moderate category.. are seeing their symptoms like fatigue, chest congestion, body pains, low fevers, abdominal issues, headaches, limb problems etc not disappear. Doctors are reporting the increase in deaths due to strokes, clots, organ failures including heart failures, autoimmune diseases and sepsis in people who were otherwise seemingly healthy.

Excess death figures should be carefully monitored as governments in many countries are trying to conceal the seriousness of the new COVID-19 surges.

Experts also predict that Spain will not see any respite as many newer sub-lineages from the family of KP variants can cause reinfections easily and many might just stay sick for a longer time. The newer sub-lineages of KP.3 such as KP.3.1.1, KP.3.1.2 KP.3.2, KP.3.3 are expected to be able to reinfect even those who were just infected with just the KP.3 variant!

Coming weeks will be interesting to watch as we will witness how the new KP.3 sub-lineages wreak havoc in many countries.

Thailand Medical News strongly advise those that have been exposed to the KP variants to see a doctor even if you feel ok and get a CT scan done for lung and other organs fibrosis and also to test for coronary endo thelial damage by doing the Coronary Reactivity test and also to run test to assess endothelial function in the various parts of the body and  run kidney function tests and also test for possible increased risk for stroke and clotting issues and also test for start of mild sepsis and leaky gut issues.
