Editorial: Are Covid-19 Researchers and Medical Experts Looking At The Wrong Places For Answers?
Source: Covid-19 News Mar 21, 2020 4 years, 8 months, 1 day, 3 hours, 53 minutes ago
It is now roughly 12 weeks since the SARS-CoV-2 virus that causes the
Covid-19 disease has made its global debut, to date the death toll is 11,187 and rising and the total number infected about 266,500. We expect to hit a million infected in less than 10 days time and about 25,000 to 50,000 deaths in the same time frame….and this is only the start.
Now the things I am going to mention here are my personal opinion. There are not scientifically proven in full but do your own due diligence on online and check on the various published studies. Some items that I am going to be mentioning below have already been proven scientifically and others not yet or are merely projections based on past studies. I do not have the luxury of time of supplying all the research works ( we are working currently on more than 5 projects to help the global community) but would appreciate other researchers who could also pitch in and send me what else you have at mktwiz789@gmail.com
There is an acute shortage of test kits and even the PCR testing is not full proof at the moment as many people are still in denial and calling it as fake news but the truth is that the SARS-CoV-2 started mutating in the early stages in Wuhan and the initial evolutionary branches have taken complete new directions and some with hybrid characteristics. We now believe that there are more than even a hundred strains and still increasing, exhibiting different characteristics and behaviours and some have substantial changes on the codons and on their genomic structure that it will affect the efficiency of the PCR NATs test despite so much claims from the manufacturers and medical experts that it will not.(

Perhaps some genomic experts out there could review what I am saying and help conduct some actual research with regards of the to the accuracy of the PCR NATs tests versus the genomic sequencing of the various strains and show us that I am right or wrong, as I am not fully sure but am inclined to believe that I am right.
We have also discovered tha
t the collective group of strains have 4 modes of binding and ‘attacking human host cells (

In the evolutionary branches of the SARS-CoV-2, the initial strains that appeared in Wuhan primarily attacked the ACE-2 receptors of the cells of the lungs and kidneys and other organs. In that branches, two sub-groups emerged in which one had milder symptoms but we do not know what damages they do as their residual viral loads remains in the bodies while another was even more aggressive. From that branch strain also emerged an even aggressive strain that is now affecting countries in Italy and Iran. Unlike the Wuhan strain where most of the time when symptoms initially manifest itself, it takes 3 weeks for the disease to progress into critical stages, this new strain super aggressive strain has a dual manner of binding itself to the ACE-2 receptors and because of certain codon changes on its RNA is able to multiply even rapidly making its attack even faster. This is one of the few identified strains in Italy and Iran (there are two aggressive strains circulating in Iran) and now also just detected in Thailand which also has two other strains circulating around. The progression of the disease from this much more aggressive strain is such that once an infected person manifest symptoms, the duration to death, is only between 3 to 7 days unless antivirals are used to slow down the process (not treat and cure as yet).
I am not going to even discuss about the other strains till published studies are out but there are some teams out there listening and are helping to verify some of my hypothesis in their ongoing research.
The key thing is that all vaccine, drug and diagnostic research is going to be futile until all researchers pull resources together, acknowledge the presence of the mutations and the strains and have them mapped out by detailed sequencing and also study the characteristics of these strains.
For vaccines we just do not need just a broad spectrum approach but also a broad strain approach. For the antivirals, we will need combo drugs that address the different attack modes not just the destruction of the replication mode approach.
Medical researchers also need to go back to the Bat CoVs and also study the Bats’s immunity system and dietary habits as I strongly believe a lot of answers are there. (
https://www.thailandmedical.news/news/researchers-uncover-why-viruses-from-bats-such-as-coronaviruses-are-so-deadly)
I strongly believe that understanding the Bat’s immunity system, dietary habits and metabolites and also certain cellular pathways will provide us with solutions for drugs and even vaccines along with detailed studies of the Bat’s CoV to undertstand the virus evolution.
There is no harm exploring what I am saying as to date, nothing has really progressed in truth…no vaccines till 15 to 18 months time or longer, despite lies by a certain government to soothe its people, no drugs as off yet as many potential drugs are proving to be disappointing. But for sure death figures and infected cases are rising exponentially.
We will be providing more updates on Covid-19 research on diagnostics, the genomic aspects of the virus, drug research, prophylaxis, vaccine research and also much more the next few days. Keep on logging on to Thailand Medical News.
