H5N1 News: Emerging data and information emerging on the H5N1 outbreak in poultry and dairy cow farms in the United States is beginning to indicate that not only is the outbreak serious and extensive, but there have been possibly either cover ups as elections are at the end of the year or that those in charge are totally incompetent!
H5N1 Outbreak In The United States Could Be More Serious And
Extensive Than Reported With Possible Cover Ups Of Threats To Human Health!
Many of the earlier reported issues about the H5N1 outbreak among dairy cows and statements by official sources are now being contradicted by emerging data.
H5N1 Infection In Cows Were Introduced By A Single Event Much Earlier
To start with, emerging data shows that the outbreak among dairy could have possible started much earlier than reported. From 239 genomic sequences that were uploaded on 21
st of April by the USDA, Dr Michael Worobey, an evolutionary scientist from the University of Arizona discovered that it was likely a single bird infection that affected the cows. That introduction could have taken place anytime in December 2023 or January 2024.

Mystery Of Cow-to-Cow Infections
While the various agencies like the U.S. CDC, USDA etc initially claimed in
H5N1 News reports that the spread of the disease between cows and cows were not taking place, the rising spread among cows were taking place at increasing rates.
However, on the 19th of April, the USDA issued a statement acknowledging that cow to cow transmissions were indeed taking place. However how that is happening is unknown.

One explanation is that the milking machines used in the farms could be spreading the H5N1 virus from one cow to the next.

Another possibility is that insects could be aiding in the spread. Thailand
w.thailandmedical.news/">Medical News had been covering about the issue of insects being vectors for H5N1 as early as February 2023.

It should be noted that the H5N1 virus was never detected in the nasal cavities or respiratory tract of the cows.

Another hypothesis that was presented is that the cow food supply could have been contaminated with the H5N1 virus as it was revealed that chicken manure and remnants were often mixed together with other ingredients as a feed for the dairy cows!

Yet another hypothesis is that the cow dung itself could also be aiding in the spread of H5N1.

Human In Texas Infected In Dairy Farm Possibly Got Infected From A Bird And Not From A Cow!
Despite unsubstantiated media reports claiming that a farm hand in Texas contracted H5N1 from cows, newer genomic data indicates that the infected male farm hand likely got it from an infected bird and not from a cow.
Asymptomatic Infections In Cows Could Be Phenomenal.
On April 25th, the USDA reported that the H5N1 virus had been discovered in the lung of an asymptomatic cow, triggering worries that the number of cows with asymptomatic H5N1 infections could in reality be phenomenal!

Milk Supplies Contaminated With H5N1 particles But U.S. CDC and U.S. FDA Claim That These Particles Are Not Infectious And Are Safe To Consume!
Emerging data shows that a large percentage of milk supplies in supermarkets and groceries across the United States are containing the H5N1 particles.

While the U.S. FDA insist that these milk supplies containing these viral particles are safe for consumption as they are not infectious, newer studies indicate that this might not be the case.

Other Concerning Issues: Cats Also Getting Infected, Farm Workers With Illness Not Getting Medically Checked Etc.
Reports have also emerged that barn cats are also getting infected and dying from H5N1. This could add another dimension to the evolution of the H5N1 as cats could also become short term reservoirs that aid in its evolution.

There is now news circulating around that the number of infected farm workers could be underreported coupled with reports that many infected farm workers typically do not see doctors when they down with respiratory illness symptoms!

There are also speculations that the reported number of dairy farms infected with the H5N1 virus could be far much more than what is being reported.

What About Beef cattle Farms?
To date, no news has emerged about beef cattle being infected with the H5N1 virus but then it was found that no testing has been conducted in any of these farms so far as the focus has only been on dairy farms!
Conclusion
The way that the whole H5N1 outbreak in poultry and dairy cow farms across the United States is being handled reflects very poor on the authorities in charge and worse, the food supply chain is also being possibly being affected and the threat to human health is rising from a number of different number perspectives.
