As of Sunday morning, the number of countries that now have confirmed coronavirus infection cases besides China stands at 32, with the total number of infected cases outside of China hovering at 178 confirmed cases. There are more than 20,000 suspected cases stretching across 92 countries with about 1, 620 that have taken a diagnostic test and are awaiting results.

Certain countries still do not have access to the diagnostic test for the coronavirus such as Pakistan, Brazil, etc. In Indonesia health officials are complaining that they do not have the correct assay reagents for the PCR tests, putting them at a risk as many suspected cases have yet to be confirmed as to whether the patients are infected or not with the coronavirus.

Japan has now usurped Thailand to be the second country next to China, with the most number of coronavirus infected cases with a total of 20 cases. Thailand is now at the third position with 19 cases. The low cases in Thailand can be attributed to effective government policies on the crackdown of “fake news.”

Many countries on Saturday reported new cases and suspected cases. America reported its 8 case, an individual in Boston just an hour ago.

The breakdown of  countries with coronavirus infected cases are :  Japan(20 cases), Thailand (19 cases), Singapore(18 cases), Hong Kong(13 cases),  South Korea(12 cases), Australia(12 cases), Taiwan(10 cases), Malaysia(8 cases), United States(8 cases), Macau(7 cases), Germany(7 cases), France(6 cases), UAE(5 cases), Canada(4 cases), Italy(2 cases), Vietnam(6 cases), Britain(2 cases), Russia(2 cases), Nepal(1 case), Mexico(1 case) Africa-Cote d’Ivoire(1case), Africa –Zambia(1 case), Sri Lanka(1 case), Ukraine(1 case), Finland(1 case), Philippines(1 case), India-Kerala(I case), Sweden(1 case) Spain(1 case), Brazil(1 case) Cambodia(1 case) , Tunisia(1 case)

China meanwhile reported that the death toll is now 304 with the number of confirmed infected cases as 14,395. Individuals in critical condition stands at 1,948 while more than a quarter million people all over China are having symptoms but yet to have yet to be tested.

It must be noted that China health officials are only divulging death tolls mainly from figures in Hubei whereas the situation now in provinces like Chongqing, Henan, Hunan, Zhejiang, Shanghai and Guizhou are now becoming just as bad as Hubei with certain new epicenters sprouting up in these provinces.

Medical supplies are becoming more scare despite the Chinese Government claiming to have the situation under control. Hospitals all over China are in dire need of supplies and are appealing for donations. Individuals, companies and manufacturers willing to help are advised to contact nearby Chinese embassies.
