WARNING! Many Countries Starting To See A New Surge In COVID-19 Cases Driven By The BA.4/ BA.5 Variants And Their Subvariants Despite Less Testing!

Countries spanning from the United Kingdom, France, the United States, Germany, Taiwan, Japan, Australia, Brazil, UAE, Denmark etc are all beginning to witness a gradual surge in SARS-CoV-2 infections despite low testing rates and scientist are warning that the new surge driven by the BA.4 and
BA.5 variant including multiple sub-variants and third generation variants that they are spawning could lead to much more devastating surge this Northern hemisphere Summer compared to previous years.
Already in the United States, 134,095 new COVID-19 infections and 438 COVID-19 deaths were recorded in the last 24 hours with almost 28,000 people hospitalized and 3016 individuals in ICU wards. Local scientist and physicians say that the actual figures could be as high as 5 to 6-fold as many counties and states have closed their free testing facilities coupled with the fact that current ATK or rapid antigen test kits are not the least reliable in picking up these new variants.
In the United Kingdom, 12,041 new COVID-19 infections and 89 COVID-19 deaths were recorded in the last 24 hours with about 5012 people currently hospitalized for COVID-19.
Germany saw 92,344 new COVID-19 infections in the last 24 hours and 112 COVID-19 related deaths and there are more than 37,515 people hospitalized for COVID-19. Australia had 30,960 new COVID-19 infections and 57 COVID-19 deaths in the last 24 hours.
Worst hit Taiwan saw 68,961 new COVID-19 infections in the last 24 hours and 170 COVID-19 deaths with 31,408 individuals hospitalized.
Sadly, many people are being laxed about preventive measures and taking precautions as they have been led by stupid doctors and health authorities to assume that the BA.4 and BA.5 variants will only exhibit mild or asymptomatic conditions upon infection just like the previous Omicron variants.
Unfortunately, emerging data is showing that not only is the BA.4 and BA.5 variants and their subvariants more evasive from both natural immunity and vaccine-induced immunity but previous infections with the BA.1 or BA.2 variants will not protect one from getting infected again.
Furthermore, the new BA.4 and BA.5 variants are not only more pathogenic and fusogenic but they are able to utilize the TMPRSS2 protein more effectively for viral entry and also replicate faster in the lungs and other tissues.

In terms of Long COVID, these new variants are expected to cause more problems.
With most countries relaxing border controls and also preventive COVID-1 measures, this summer surge is expected to cause more casualties.
The Washington University’s IHME modelling platform predicts that another 695,000 individuals would die from now till the 1st of October 2022 from a optimistic perspective.

Medical News is however more pessimistic and predicts that that more than 1.4 million people will die during this period including considering excess deaths due to COVID-19.
It should be also be noted that with so much mutations and changes to to the Mpro structures of the new SARS-CoV-2 variants and sub-variant, whatever known antivirals or compounds that could have been effective for the past variants, will no longer be effective to deal with these new variants, that includes everything spanning from remdesivir, paxlovid, molnupiravir, ivermectin, nigella sativa, quercetin, glycyrrhizin
, artemisinin, nitazoxanide etc.
Due to changes in the pathogenesis and the way the new variants affects the immune system, anti-inflammatory agents like fluvoxamine (Note fluvoxamine has no antiviral properties against the SARS-CoV-2 virus despite fake claims by certain charlatans), colchicine, melatonin etc will not work with these new variants.
Also expect more ARDs issues and the need for ventilators and oxygen supplies with these new cases.
