MEDICAL VENTILATORS

A medical ventilator is a machine that moves air in and out of the lungs in cases where a patient is physically unable to breathe. Used in intensive care, home care, and emergency medicine settings, the machine forces air and supplemental oxygen into the lungs, improving oxygen levels, removing carbon dioxide, and decreasing the effort required to breathe.
